Life’s at the Beach

Did you know that there was a dancing bear in Chesapeake Beach? True story! Hear a story and discuss the history of Chesapeake Beach. Game, craft and snack included.

10am-11am. Free and open to the public. Drop-ins welcome. For groups larger than five, please call to arrange for a private tour of the museum.

*Event will be held at the NORTHEAST COMMUNITY CENTER, ROOM C, 4075 Gordon Stinnett Ave., Chesapeake BeachMD 20732, due to the impending heat wave, humidity, and air quality. 

 

CBRM Main Building

Turned into a museum in 1979, the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum preserves the history of the bayside resort through audio-visual presentations, artifacts, photographs, and exhibits portraying resort life during its heyday.
