SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTs:

“Last Train Ceremony”

Please join us on Sunday, April 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for our annual event marking the anniversary of the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum’s “Last Train Ceremony”. The ceremony commemorates the departure of the final Chesapeake Beach Railway train run, which departed on April 15th 1935 after 35 years of service to the beach and surrounding communities.
The ceremony will be held on the covered porch of the museum, rain or shine, starting precisely at 11:50 a.m. Guests are asked to be in place no later than 11:30 a.m.

OPEN FOR THE SEASON:

The museum is open daily from April 1, 2024 – October 31, 2024
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Maryland Heritage Area Authority/Maryland Historical Trust, and support from The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners, the Friends of CBRM, the Town of Chesapeake Beach, and private donations, the museum’s new exhibit has been completed. We invite you to join the Friends of the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum, a group that supports the museum through volunteering, advocacy, and fundraising. And mostly, we want you to watch for updates.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

All Aboard!
